Raw Algae. Some metal inspired by mick gordon’s doom 2016 and Doom Eternal Soundtracks for this @babyeffects video! The hiss sound heard behind the white noise is the actual audio of the nasa rover on Mars sent back to earth via satellite! All audio created, performed and mixed by me, using a shortscale bass guitar from chowny bass with analog and digital effects, a critter and guitari pocket piano for synths, and addictive drums 2 by xln audio!

Fog FACE. Made a nice, brassy, wavey bedroompop type beat for this babyeffects video with the help of my boy Brian Mendez on saxophone. Everything created, performed and mixed by me, using an electric bass guitar run through an Electro Harmonix Pitchfork, the native instruments Kontakt Aural Dreams VST with digital effects, and the addictive drums 2 by xln audio!

Ruin There - It’s a banger bro! Decided to make some 80’s Industrial/Trap music for this BBFX video! Everything was created, performed and mixed by me, using a short-scale bass guitar from Chowny bass with analog and digital effects, as well as addictive drums 2 by XLN audio!

"Tarot" is the first piece completed after our two year hiatus from BBFX (Baby Effects). This piece features Armando Wood performing a rendition of the Welsh Folk song “One For Sorrow” on Gamba and Banjo. Mixed in Ableton using the Fab Filter post-audio editing pack.

"Bad Trip/Egypt" is the most recent piece I completed on under BBFX. Again, I tried to go for a darker sound as to compliment the dark visuals. Again, I looped my bass through different pedals and added drums via my Octapad, but also added a distorted synth every few beats to add more emphasis on the snare hits. Everything was recorded through Ableton Live 10 using their effect library for post audio editing.

"Snowy Day" was the first piece that my animation partner and I completed under the alias, BBFX. I did everything on a Rickenbacker bass guitar, but used a harmonizer to stack 5ths on top of the 1st and 3rd scale degree, creating seven chords. After throwing on some chorus and recording it through Logic X Pro, drums were added via Logic’s internal Ultrabeat sound library.

"In My Head" was completed, much like all my other works in the BBFX series, on a single Rickenbacker bass guitar using a series of analog pedals and loops. The drums were completed through my Octapad. Everything was recorded through Ableton Live 10 using their effect library for post audio editing.

For Christmas 2018, my artistic partner in BBFX and I decided to release a dark twist on typical Christmas music. Again, I used a single Fender bass guitar using a series of analog distortion pedals and created my own adaptation of "Rudolph the red nosed reindeer". The drums were completed through my Octapad. Everything was recorded through Ableton Live 10 using their effect library for post audio editing.
